[New Videos]

Ok, one is new and one is old…

I just added a loop that was used at the most recent subNatural show. The loop features a three dimensional version of my reworking of the subNatural logo spinning amidst a sea of digital glitches.

Also added is a video for “777” which was used during Inversion Effect shows around 2005 and 2006. The video was created by deconstructing a series of photographs, animating some elements within the photographs and then meticulously adding glitch elements throughout.

Both videos can be seen on the video page.

[In The Shadow Of The Vampire]

In 2005, the band I played in at the time, Inversion Effect, was commissioned by the Alamo Drafthouse at Lake Creek to compose an original score to be performed during a Food & Film presentation of F W Murnaus’s 1922 silent classic, Nosferatu. I have been interested in doing sound for film for some time now and this was a great opportunity for me. Though it was a lot of work, it was very rewarding and I look forward to doing more in the future.

Speaking of the future… there will be more news to come regarding Nosferatu, but for now, I have added the original trailer to the video page. Check it out if you dare…

In addition, a review of the show can be read at the Austinist website.
