notes: The fourteenth release by Artificial Music Machine is an ambient experiment by Matthew Thies of Numbers On The Mast. Named after the four moons of Saturn discovered by Giovanni Cassini, the recording could be described as an aural odyssey across unknown celestial landscapes. As such, the design relies on minimalist textures and cryptographic elements. All source images are taken from the image library of NASA‘s Cassini orbiter mission. Several cryptograms finish the design; including a timeline of the album which graces the outer sleeve. This timeline represents the artist, album title, track listing, and track lengths while mimicking a natural digital distortion that can be seen on the inner sleeve and throughout the library of Cassini images.
