notes: This release was the first time I designed for a record sleeve. The idea of the title song had come out of discussions about Peggy Lee and her song of the same name. To echo this idea, I sampled and recreated elements of the cover of her album, The Fabulous Peggy Lee. This was done in the spirit of electronic music which often involves samples of various types as well as the several sleeve designs based on Elvis Presley’s first album, Elvis Presley. To finish off a modern take on classic ephemera, the logos, liner and copyright information were placed within a defined area influenced by mid-twentieth century album design and the obi strips found with most Japanese releases.
