notes: To celebrate a year of its Cross Product multimedia event, Artificial Music Machine released a limited edition, numbered CD-R highlighting AMM artists and performances from the Cross Product event series. Embracing the mixtape nature of the release, each CD-R was handpainted with the AMM star logo. The sleeve design incorporates the key elements of the US flag; replacing the field of stars with the AMM star logo and the stripes with black bands which wrap around the sleeve to their source, the AMM barcode logo. Though extremely minimalist, this design heavily reiterates brand identity while playfully acknowledging its place as a product.
